Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of the family.  We will miss your father's friendship, his sense of humor and his ever present eagerness to lend a hand to help.  Watching this years Army Navy football game will not be the same without him.  We hope the consolation that John is resting happily and peacefully with Margaret helps to ease your family's loss.

With our deepest sympathy we offer our thoughts and prayers to the entire family. John was a great neighbor and made us feel welcomed. Pat please know that your unselfish acts did not go unnoticed. God bless you, your father and your entire family.

It good to see you John and your family after a few years of separation, at the last nautilus reunion. Thank you and all the family for visiting me in the hospital.  My prayers are with you and your family.
Tell Peggy that I said hello, when you see her up there.

Love you all,
Gloria

USS Nautilus SSN-571 shipmates, their families and alumni call to attention for ETCM (SS) John K. Hargraves and his service to country and to Nautilus. John’s passing to Eternal Patrol will be shared with his shipmates and recorded in the log book kept by the Nautilus Alumni Association.

Master Chief, your duty is complete sir.
Let us take up the oar.
'For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.'

Romans 8:38-39

Fraternally,
NAAI Chaplain
