Moosup – Barbara A. Yesinowski, 75, of Moosup, passed away on June 6, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.  
She was born in Oneco, CT on Jan 29, 1943, a daughter to the late Francis (Sudol) and Stanley Nowakowski.  She was married to David A. Yesinowski on Sept. 15, 1962.  He survives her.
Barbara worked and retired from the State of CT – Dept. of Transportation.  She loved her family most and cherished the time spent with them.  She enjoyed her home and was an avid gardener.  If not working around her home she also enjoyed going out shopping.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Christopher Yesinowski  and wife Rosa; daughter Heidi Gaudreau and husband Gary; grandchildren Zachary and Dylan Gaudreau, Heather Nicholson; great grandchildren Shane, Vanessa and Wyatt Gaudreau, Rosalie and Fern Nicholson.
There will be a calling hour held at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home on Saturday June 9th from 10:00-11:00AM with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home.  Following the funeral service there will be a committal service and burial within the Pachaug Cemetery in Griswold.  For online condolences please go to

My condolences goes out to Barbara's family, Barbara worked as my Clerk for many years at DOT Signs & Markings in Plainfield, she was an excellent Clerk and I know she will be missed. Sorry I can not make the funeral due to other commitments, our prayers are with her.

Just let you know when I was at signs in markin's Barbara was a great clerk and a privilege to have a good preson when my daughter was born Barbara got her a gift and thought that was so nice and I'll will never forget that she was a good harted person god bless her and family may the loard lead her home
