Griswold – Julie Ann Flowers of Griswold unexpectedly passed away April 7, 2018 at Harford Hospital at the age of 47.
She was born August 3, 1970 in Norwich, CT daughter to Janice A. (Johnson) and Charles B. Rice of Norwich.  She grew up the youngest of seven children.  
Julie married her high school sweetheart Philip M. Flowers, Sr. on April 8, 1989 at Central Baptist Church in Norwich, CT.  Together they raised their children in Montville, CT.   Julie worked for the State of CT within the Judicial Branch.
In addition to her husband Philip M. Flowers Sr., Julie is survived by her daughter and son in law Ashley and Nathan Broccoli, her sons Devin M. Flowers and Philip M. Flowers, Jr., two brothers, three sisters and her in laws Walter and Margaret Flowers.  Julie was expecting a granddaughter in May, 2018.
She was predeceased by her sister Beckie A. Pappas.

My deepest condolences to the whole family. Julie was an amazingly happy, upbeat, generous woman who took great joy and pride in her family. I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend her service as I'll be out-of-state.

Phil and family, there are just no words to express the sadness we feel for you losing your beautiful wife and mother of your children, we cannot imagine the heartache, we are praying God keep you close to comfort you all..Love you and God Bless sweetheart ..
