Mystic – Ralph P. Tedeschi 90, of Goldstar Highway, formerly of Preston, CT, died Tuesday January 16, 2018 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 24, 1927 in Warwick, RI the son of Domenic and Henrietta (Padula) Tedeschi.
Ralph worked for 30 years for the Connecticut Department of Transportation as  an engineer.  He was a veteran for the United States Army at the end of World War II, serving in the Philippines.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 65 years Jean (Smullen) Tedeschi, three sons Mark Tedeschi and his wife Cheryl, Paul Tedeschi and his wife Nancy, Brian Tedeschi and his wife Suzanne, daughter Brenda Tedeschi and her partner Max Weagle, four brothers, Cosmo Tedeschi, Anthony Tedeschi, George Tedeschi, Domenic Tedeschi, a sister,  Estelle Tedeschi, thirteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Sunday January 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT.
The funeral will be Monday January 22, 2018 at 11 AM at the Preston City Congregational Church 321 Route 164 Preston, CT with burial to follow in Preston City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.

So sorry to hear about my Uncle's passing. He was a funny guy with many stories, spent many days and nights at 317 Old Jewett City Road as a small child and a teen!!!!! Good times with precious memories!!!
