Griswold – Stephen M. Klemchuk 52, of Old Voluntown Road, passed away unexpectedly Friday January 19, 2018 doing what he loved to do.
He was born August 16, 1965 in Norwich, CT, the son of Dottie (Cole) Klemchuk, of Voluntown and the late Stephen Klemchuk.
Stephen owned and operated SMK Forest Products LLC.  He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed going to logging shows.  Stephen was a hard worker and loved his work in the logging business.
Stephen is survived by his fiancé of 23 years  Donna Beaulieu, of Griswold, his mother, Dottie Klemchuk, of Voluntown, sisters Kathy Minski (Allen), Nancy Poirier (Ryan), daughter, Trista Klemchuk of Oklahoma, son, Stephen Klemchuk of Vermont, sister in laws, brother in laws, several aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews and three grandchildren.  He is also survived by his cats that he loved and adored.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00PM with a memorial service at 7:00PM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Road Jewett City, CT.  Calling hours from 10:00-11:00AM will be held Thursday morning with a graveside service to immediately follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Griswold

Dottie. So sorry to see the loss of Stevie. I can still recall coming to your house to play with girls with my Aunt Anna. I am living in Montana now. Had some bad times but put behind me and got me a good man now. Well God Bless you all. Again I am so sorry for your loss. Love Doreen
